Non solo fumetti

Not just comics

Nubes welcomes written texts and does so for a ton of reasons: we do not preclude ourselves from any of the modern ways of telling the ancient, other than effectiveness and precision in communicating the message. We believe that each story has its own channel and its own style, and that interweaving, crossing and intersecting points of view and declinations are valuable creative opportunities.

So Nubes offers you two different texts, which in the coming months will be intertwined with comics, to play with perspective and, finally, see us better.

Agave is the theatrical text, written in Latin by Stefano Vittori, which we publish with Italian or English translation opposite. This disturbing and evocative reinterpretation of the Bacchae myth will be transposed into comics in the coming months, with fidelity to the plot and words but a strong acceleration on the visual, symbolic and hallucinogenic aspect of the events.

L'ombra perfetta - Storia di Calpurnia, moglie di Cesare is a historical novel by Sonia Morganti, written in Italian, which sets the events of the characters in the cultural context and among the voices of the first century BC. The novel will be adapted into comic books in the coming months, under the title Fortuna Caesaris. The plot, initially identical, will gradually mutate to the point of changing the weight and direction of the characters, offering an exciting visual representation of the human story.
