Francesco Vacca

A Piedmontese now living in Rome, he works for Topolino (Disney/Panini Comics) and teaches scriptwriting at the Scuola Romana dei Fumetti.
He is among the founders of Nubes, a publishing house dedicated to history and ancient languages, for which he worked on Origines Pictae, Medeae Daemones, Maxentius – Postremus Romulus, Ammianus, vesper mundi, Non auro sed ferro, Numa – Memoria Veter and Agave
For Tatai Lab he wrote Livania, Il tuo clima, the comics and the spin-off novel Shuricat and is on the team of the Wondercity and InnTale – Luxastra. He scriptwrites for Samuel Stern (Bugs Comics). For Edizioni Segni d’Autore he created the miniseries Space Anabasis and the historic graphic novel Pietro Manodori. For Exempla Romanorum he wrote Manio Curio Dentato and Publio Orazio Coclite.
In the past, he collaborated with the online magazine BadTaste, dealing mainly with Disney comics, and wrote satirical strips for the magazine Golem Informazione.
He has been studying Latin as a living language from 2021 and Ancient greek from 2023. In 2024, he appeared in the Latin tragedy Agave in the role of Tiresias.
